Blocking stopped working
Most of the time a permission was switched off or the phone put Snapout to sleep. Check these in order:
- Open Snapout, go to Blocks, and check that blocking is on and the app is still in your list.
- In Android Settings, open Apps, then Special access. Make sure Usage access and Display over other apps are on for Snapout.
- Allow Snapout to run in the background. In Android Settings, open Battery and set Snapout to unrestricted. Some phones (Samsung, Xiaomi, Oppo, Vivo, OnePlus and others) also have an "autostart" or "sleeping apps" list: remove Snapout from it.
- Restart the phone once. Snapout starts again on its own after a restart.
- If you used "Turn off" on a block screen, blocking stays off until the time you chose. Turn it back on from the Blocks screen.
The reel count is wrong or missing
Counting needs the Accessibility service and works by reading the numbers Instagram, YouTube and Facebook show on screen, such as the like count. Those apps change often, so after one of their updates the counter can miss a reel or count one twice. Blocking a whole app is not affected.
- Check that Snapout is on in Android Settings, then Accessibility.
- Check that the feed is turned on in Snapout under Blocks, then Feeds.
- If it still looks wrong, email us the app (Instagram, YouTube or Facebook), its version, and what happened. This is how we find and fix a broken app update.
I bought Snapout Pro and it did not unlock
- Open Snapout, then Settings, then Snapout Pro, then Restore purchases. Use the same Google account that paid.
- A payment can take a few minutes to finish. If Google Play shows it as pending, Pro unlocks when it completes.
- If it still does not unlock, email us your Google Play order number (it starts with GPA.). We will fix it or help you ask Google for a refund.
To cancel a subscription or ask for a refund, see the refund policy.
Delete my data
Snapout keeps everything on your phone. To remove it, open Settings, then Delete my data. Uninstalling the app deletes it too. If Strict Mode is on, deletion waits until it ends. We hold no copy of your data. See the privacy policy.
What to put in an email
These help us fix it faster: your phone model and Android version, the Snapout version (Settings, then About), what you expected, and what happened. A screenshot helps. Please do not send passwords or one-time codes.
